REPORT ON WORKSHOP ON SELF ASSESSMENT PROCEEDINGS

A workshop on Self-Assessment proceedings for the program team members of Abasyn University Peshawar and Islamabad Campuses was held on 10th August, 2016 at the Main Hall, Abasyn University Peshawar.

Dr. Syed Umar Farooq, Director QEC, Abasyn University, Peshawar was the Resource Person. All the PT members from Faculty of Life Sciences, Faculty of Computing & Technology and Faculty of Management Sciences actively participated in the workshop.

The proceedings of the workshop started with a welcome note by Dr. Jamil Ahmad, the Patron of QEC Abasyn University Peshawar. This was followed by presentation of Dr. Syed Umar Farooq. He elaborated the objectives of the workshop and later on gave a detailed overview of the Self-Assessment proceedings required at any vibrant University in Pakistan.

Various topics pertaining to establishment, strengthening of QEC through internal quality assurance and assessment mechanism were elaborated. The presentation was followed by a comprehensive and enlightening session of Q&A.

At the end, Dr. Jamil Ahmad, Vice Chancellor & Patron of QEC, Abasyn University appreciated the participants for their keen interest in workshop and thanked Dr. Syed Umar Farooq to act as Resource Person in conducting the workshop on Self-Assessment Proceedings in a very elegant and lucid style.
