3rd orientation session/ training workshop on Pakistan Qualification Register (PQR).

On December 28th, Higher Education Commission (HEC) organized the 3rd training workshop on Pakistan Qualification Register (PQR) which focused on the collection of data regarding HEC approved programs offered by Universities. I was appointed as a focal person from Abasyn University to attended the meeting. Following is a brief meeting summary that highlights the major items discussed,

• University must appoint a focal person.
• University to form a committee for data collection.
• Data must be uploaded by February 2017.

A Q&A session was held at the end of the meeting, where the attendees shared opinions, thoughts and suggestions on centralizing data and furthermore improving the system.

The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the chair.
